This is a cozy cabin with a queen-size bedroom, a stall shower/toilet bathroom, and a sleeping/office loft accessible by a pull-out stair/ladder (it makes sense when you see it!) The active living space is one room: propane stove, sink, no dishwasher, working but relatively sensitive septic system, full-size fridge, rodent-proof cabinets and drop-side table. Wood stove, couch/day bed with trundle. Under-eave storage accessible from loft. No cellar or attic - limited storage. Glassed-in porch.

Internet is potentially possible

The ideal guest is someone for whom this is ideal! A single person or a couple would be fine, but it is a small space. Someone who loves, respects, and values nature and the outdoors. A good communicator who can offer and receive feedback kindly and with curiosity. Someone who takes responsibility for their actions and has follow-through. A person who understands the benefit of and need to establish and maintain clear boundaries. My sisters and I come visit regularly and would like our guest to be civil and flexible when there are grandchildren and dogs running around - we are wicked fun!

Waterfront

We will consider guest pets on a case by case basis. We would need to get to know the guest and pet first before accepting. Figure out a way to get rid of pine sap on your windshield - it'll wreck your wipers!
