We have a small studio apartment we would like to make available in exchange for assistance with our complex lives as Gerry continues to experience the challenges of his Parkinson's. We are looking for a live-in, home/administrative helper for Gerry and me. AIdeally we are seeking a kind, companionate English-speaking person with a sense of humor, who has a car and can drive, help Gerry with his phone and computer work, pitch in around the house, take our sweet dog for walks, enjoy our grand piano and Japanese garden! We need a person with 20 hours/week available, though there is some flexibility in how we would schedule these hours. However, someone with other work commitments would probably not be the right fit. Some overnight presence is important too.
