The room, mostly private bath (only used occasionally by owner), large closet and hallway are in a small addition on the first floor. A door separates this annex from the rest of the house. The room will be provided furnished including a full bed. (Photo shows a partially furnished room in progress, ready for Jan.)
The house is a treasured older home that has been in the family for many years. Though a car is recommended, the house is located on a busline to a transportation hub for Boston.

Hi, I am from Saugus originally, but have lived most of my adult life elsewhere. I now own the family home, and am becoming re-acquainted with the area. As a housemate, I am quiet and respectful. I enjoy reading, the arts, and being in nature. I am retired from the arts field, and enjoy people with a sense of humor who are involved in creative pursuits, healthy living, and love animals. I value a peaceful, cooperative, and clean living environment.
The Neighborhood
There are trees around the house and the room looks out on a wooded area. The neighborhood is busy with walkers out for a stroll, solo or with their dogs and families. The location is good for someone who prefers to live outside the urban environment but also be only 10 miles from Boston.
