Room Details
Since we haven't moved in yet, you could be part of the decision making around who gets what room! There's a sunroom on one side of the house with a private entrance, and the other side of the house has three bedrooms. You could rent the larger bedroom which has an ensuite Jack and Jill half bath. Or you could opt for the sunroom, which measures 9.5' x 19.5', so that you're not sharing a wall with any of our bedrooms.
Currently the room is unfurnished, but we'd be happy to furnish it if you'd like!

Our kids are in bed by 8pm and wake up at 7am everyday, and while they're often calm and quiet, there will be dance parties and chattiness and meltdowns. Our ideal guest enjoys the bustle of a loving home & is decent at using they them pronouns. Bonus if you like to cook or collaborate on stuff like gardening or chores (We used to live in a co-op house & enjoy collaborating on shared projects!). We enjoy both quiet times and also chatting: How was your day, what are you excited about, etc.

Special Notes
In terms of noise, we would just have to keep the lines of communication open! Once our kids are asleep, they are pretty good at sleeping through noise- if we were up and talking or laughing it would be fine. However, since our kids get up at 7:00 everyday, it would be great if the house could be a relatively chill zone starting around 9:00pm so that us parents can wind down and get to bed. Lots of flexibility there though, as long as we communicate with one another I'm sure we could figure out stuff that works for everyone! For example, if you choose to rent the sunroom and we're in bed on the other side of the house, we probably couldn't hear you.

Hi! We're a family of four + a cat! All of us old enough to self-identify have decided we're queer. Our 8 year old loves to build things and draw and talk about Stardew Valley and our 2 year old likes to do blanket wrestling and read books to themselves and sing about trucks! The cat will love to sit in your lap!
We're pretty creative and we like to figure things out, so if you're in a situation that seems like it might fit, then we'd love to talk with you!
We'd love to get to know you & do group meals a few times a month. We're excited about conflict resolution, healthy communication, and general fun times/teamwork feeling.
We'll be sharing the kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, and common areas indoors & out.
The Neighborhood
We love the community that we've built here over the last 3 years, plus all the nearby parks and trails and the ocean! We love the racial diversity, our awesome elementary school community, and all the hobby farmers and gardeners around. Neto's market is just down the block and there's a new park just up the hill from us! Walking distance to BTC and the 232 bus.
