Room Details
Downstairs are a kitchen/living area. It's spacious and open, but cozy. You would share refrigerator and pantry with me. The two rooms in the suite are on the second floor at the front of the house. One is small and the other fairly large with a small closet; it could be rearranged as an office or private sitting room. There is also a bathroom that would be private to you. (There are two other rooms on the second floor, but they are not for rent, though I don't use them.)

Ideal Guest
My ideal guest would be friendly, but also understand that I need a cup of coffee in the morning before I can say more than Hello!! I like to chat, but I'm okay being quiet. Ideally they work outside the house or are otherwise out and about part of the week. They must like cats: I have two. The neighbor comes to clean the litter box every day and a cleaner comes every two weeks to clean the downstairs. Also, there is just one kitchen, so they'll have to be okay sharing and be tidy.

Special Notes
No smoking at all on the premises. Light drinking would be fine. The occasional guest would be okay; I'd expect them to be respectful of my home.
My daughter comes to visit occasionally and spends the night in her old bedroom at Christmas, which is also on the second floor.

Hello, I'm Bill Bowler. I've lived in Hamilton since 1986, when I moved here with my wife and young daughter. I'm a mostly retired lawyer and have been involved in town government & the Hamilton-Wenham community in many ways. I love to read and spend time at the library, sing with the Solstice Singers (a local group), and spend time with local friends. I also enjoy going to Medford to have dinner with my daughter.
The Neighborhood
Hamilton is a beautiful town with lots of green. I am very close to Chebacco Woods, which has great walking & mountain biking trails. There is a commuter rail station downtown. We are about 10 minutes to Essex, 12 to North Beverly, and 15 to Cabot Street in Beverly. The Hamilton-Wenham Library is fantastic.
About the rooms: If you decide to move in we can work with you on the second room (the one with the posted bed) to remove the bed, add a chair and/or desk etc.
