The guest room is a library with an entire wall of books, along with a smaller ceiling to floor bookcase. It has two full size [double?] beds, a recliner, a bench under the back window, and a small table/desk with stool.
Guests would have access to a shared bathroom, with an antique clawfoot bathtub/shower and a small washer/dryer.

I do not currently have pets, but am a foster for the local animal shelter and sometimes care for a cat or two in need. The cats are usually confined to my bedroom for the majority of their time there.
Cats are welcome, no dogs though, and nothing in cages.
There is a certain expectation that guest will share in chores such as washing their own dishes. I for the most part will maintain sweeping up the floors, shoveling et cetera, but would appreciate any help without expectation of any reduction of rent.

Hi, as a roommate, I am clean & tidy, and like cooking. I like early mornings and a cup of tea, feeding the birds and squirrels.
The Neighborhood
Edgecomb is a tiny town between the sweet village of Wiscasset, with antique stores & little cafes, and the famed town of Boothbay Harbor, with seal watching and fishing cruises. The ocean is always a breath away even when not in view. Edgecomb does have a post office and volunteer fire department, but is otherwise rather sleepy.
The house itself is private and sits back in the woods, with a large backyard. It is a ranch style home, with convenient one floor living, and a huge deck off the front the entire length of the home.
