Reliable, polite, helpful but not too helpful, aware of needs, able to communicate. They need to pick up after themselves when using shared areas. Be honest and not just say what they think I want to hear. Mostly someone who can be be respectful and caring with my brother.

I will be coming by 1 or 2 days per week depending on appointments and/or transportation needs. I have been doing all the cooking and buying food for my brother and would like someone else to live there with him to share that with me.
Pets are welcome, but my brother does have a cat and I bring my dog when I visit.

This is Mary and I am the caregiver for my brother, Dave, who lives in the house. I come up and stay nights a week to help them but I would feel more comfortable, knowing that someone was in the house all the time and can provide light support and companionship (some cooking, saying hello and checking in on how he is doing). He is physically healthy with some dementia. I would still come an do appointments and meds, but would appreciate occasional help with short drives to drop Dave at the clubhouse he attends. But just knowing someone was in the house with them would be good. My brother is 63. He can do ADLs.

Located less than 5 miles from capital city of Augusta. Walking distance to post office and Walgreens pharmacy. Hiking trails nearby...also 5 miles from State Capital of Maine, Augusta.
