Front turret room on 3rd floor. Full of windows. Very sunny. Quiet corner of a quiet house. Bed, desk, closet, chest of drawers. Mini-fridge. Bathroom is shared with other renter. Current renters pay cleaning lady $10 once a month to clean their shared bathroom. (For another $20, she can clean your room as well.)

Easy-going, friendly, low maintenance. Cherishes both privacy and shared company in the right proportions.  Someone who takes initiative on little things, like taking out garbage if can is full. Snow shoveling, cleaning up after cooking in kitchen, are shared responsibilities.

It is not my place to tell you how neat to keep your room, but basic cleanliness is a must. Food must not be left out in the open. I provide both boarders with cleaning supplies to keep their shared bathroom and their own bedrooms clean. These are what I consider shared experiences: -Keeping kitchen neat and clean, wiping down counters, occasionally sweeping the floor, taking out garbage; -Shoveling sidewalk [and driveway, if you keep a car there]. Noise should be kept to a minimum after 10p work nights [Sun-Thurs]. Being old construction, noise doesn't travel much, so it isn't hard to be quiet and enjoy quiet. And allow others to sleep in on weekends. My two sons occasionally come to stay in their own bedrooms, in which case, they use my bathroom, not boarders' bathroom. They are friendly, well-mannered and don't bring noisy friends to the house [or rarely do].
